Based in Portland, Maine, Sunburned Sharks distills sixties soul, seventies funk, eighties pop, nineties rock, R&B, and classic rock into one singular vision. Bright guitar lines catch the light like ocean spray, smooth vocals settle into a deep pocket, and airtight horns bring the lift. The set can move from Whitney Houston and Marvin Gaye to Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, The Dip, Bruce Springsteen, and a growing book of originals. Led by vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Ryan Allen Meier, the band turns years of arranging, recording, and live event experience into music built to keep a room moving.
